Dr. Abdehou is a graduate of McNeese State University and of LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, completing his residency at that university’s hospital. He has a wealth of experience in hospital and emergency care. Dr. Abdehou joined Willis-Knighton in 2000 where he has built a large practice, heavily targeted to the geriatric population. He is medical director for two home health/hospice programs and is on staff not only at Willis-Knighton but at long-term and acute rehabilitation hospitals. He also continues to provide part-time emergency care services at several hospitals in North Louisiana. He is a member of the Shreveport Medical Society, American Medical Society and the American College of Physicians. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
